David, Darlene, and Steven

David, Darlene, and Steven

David and Darlene, both retired teachers, came to Home Share Now with a strong desire to remain at home in East Montpelier but with some growing needs, like help around the house and yard and garden.  Steve enrolled in Home Share Now after relocating to the area with his cat, Lucy, and was looking for a home where he could continue his painting and music. The Grundy’s appreciation for the arts certainly contributed to a successful introduction. Now, in exchange for housing, Steve pays a reduced rent and then helps David and Darlene with house and yard projects to include the blueberry harvest. By the looks of this photo, it also appears there is plenty of blueberry eating that also takes place!
