Janet and David

Janet and David

David moved into the little apartment attached to Janet’s house in December 2010, a way for Janet to have a greater sense of security after being widowed.  You might recognize them; this match became notable when they agreed to help Home Share Now with its traveling photography exhibit. In June of 2011, David married Grace and she joined the home share. And then, born on David & Grace's first anniversary, there was Caleb.

When we visited the full and happy home, Janet commented how nice it is to have a little one around.

Home sharing allowed Grace to be a stay-at-home mom while also giving the family the chance to save up for a house down-payment. The family now lives in Williamstown and have been blessed with a second child.

Janet is now benefitting from a new match which is no surprise -- she’s been home sharing with us since 2005! Ray helps with snow blowing, lawn mowing, and leaf removal (which apparently he is very good at…). Janet says it is very comforting to home share with a previous home owner.
